Pacific Aero Tech use the following procedures in the overhaul of sliding window assemblies:

1. The unit is completely disassembled and inspected. Inspection includes visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and fluorescent or dye penetration.
2. The window is stripped to the maximum breakdown possible. All paint and primer is removed, along with any other coatings.
3. The frame is re-plated, anodized, alodized, primed, and painted.
4. The unit is re-assembled with new hardware, bearings, bushings, seals, and spacers. The panel is replaced if necessary.
5. Any Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Engineering Orders and other engineering directives specified by the customer are carried out.
6. The final assembly is inspected and certified in accordance with the OEM's Component Maintenance Manual.
